Our candles are made with clean-burning, high-quality ingredients and carefully curated scents designed to enhance your everyday experience. Are your candles made from natural ingredients?
Yes! Our candles are made from natural, Eco-friendly coconut and soy waxes, with clean-burning wicks and premium fragrance oils. Our wax melts are made from a coconut, soy and sunflower wax mix. Sunflower wax is a vegan and scent-neutral alternative to beeswax made from sunflower.
How can I return my used candle jars?
Our repurposed program will be releasing soon!
Do you donate a portion of your profits?
Yes! We are committed to giving back. A portion of our profits goes to support the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in Honor of Anna Joy. When you purchase a candle from Lumen Candle Co., you’re helping to make a positive impact in the world.
How do I care for my Lumen Candle Co. candles?
To get the most out of your candle:
  • Always trim the wick between 1/8 to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent excessive smoke and ensure an even burn.
  • Keep the candle away from drafts to avoid uneven burning.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable materials.
  • For the best experience, burn your candle for 3-4 hours at a time to allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface.

What if my candle jar is cracked or damaged?
If your candle jar arrives cracked or damaged, please contact us immediately. For safety reasons, we recommend not using any damaged jars, as they can pose a fire hazard.
How long will my candle burn?
The burn time of your candle depends on the size and type of wax. On average, our 7oz candles burn for approximately 35-40 hours. We recommend following our care instructions for longer burn times.
Do you offer custom candle orders?
Yes! We offer custom candle orders for events, gifts, or wholesale purchases. Please reach out to us with your specific needs, and we will work with you to create the perfect candle experience.
Are your candles safe to use around pets and children?
While our candles are made with non-toxic ingredients, we always recommend practicing safe candle use around pets and children. Keep candles out of their reach and avoid leaving them unattended.
How do I recycle or repurpose my candle jar?
We encourage you to repurpose your Lumen Candle Co. jar! Once the wax has burned down, simply clean out the remaining wax and use the jar for storage, as a planter, or as part of your home decor. For those who prefer to recycle, please remove any wick or metal components, and your jar can be recycled based on your local guidelines.
