Candle Care

Follow These Instructions for the Best Results When Using Our Candles:

  1. Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoke and ensure an even burn.
  2. First Burn: Allow the candle to burn for 4 hours on the first use to ensure an even melt across the surface. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures the candle burns evenly.
  3. Avoid Drafts: Keep the candle away from drafts, fans, or open windows, as these can cause uneven burning and excessive flickering.
  4. Burn Time: For optimal results, we recommend burning your candle for 2-4 hours at a time. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the surface and extends the life of your candle.
  5. Extinguishing the Flame: Gently blow out the candle or use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame when you’re finished using it. This will prevent splashing wax and ensure a clean extinguish.
  6. Storage: When not in use, store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will preserve the fragrance and prevent the wax from melting prematurely.
  7. Safety First: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets, and place them on a heat-resistant surface away from any curtains or other flammable objects.
